The Friends of Lower Beaverdam Creek is a hands-on education and advocacy organization working to restore the health of Lower Beaverdam Creek and the Anacostia River by:
- preserving, enhancing, and celebrating natural areas and
- supporting sustainable development practices for recreational, scenic, and economic benefits to the community.
